The Palmares AutoPost Server
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The Palmares AutoPost Server employes technology used in the
Palmares Recognition Server, and is therefore
suited to the complex task of processing postal correspondence.
The Server does not require any training in order to route post to users on the
network, and comes pre-configured to route post written in numerous languages.
The AutoPost server not only finds the recipient and/or the department
for which the letter is determined, but also offers the option to perform
high-accuracy full-text character recognition, providing the recipient with
both an image of the letter and the text contained therein.

The Palmares LDAP Interface
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The Palmares LDAP Interface provides a link between the
Palmares AutoPost Server and
the recipient directory.
The interface can be configured to match the fields required by the AutoPost
Server to the fields within the user directory. These fields are then copied
into the AutoPost database and used as routing information. Changes to the
user directory are automatically updated in the AutoPost database by periodically
checking the directory.
